The most anticipated day has arrived! After 3 long years in ngee ann, this really does mark a wonderful closure! It was definitely a roller coaster ride here, as much as i’m pretty scared of roller coaster rides, this one was a good one and one hell of an experience. A lot of awesome experiences especially travelling to Shanghai and meeting loads of wonderful people including friends, lecturers and tutors! Thankewwwwww to all!!!
With ah dai dai :D
With Sheauyun, so glad to meet her during dance classes @ studio wu. More to come!!!
With Joey and Kailin
Hi there, ms meeegiat aka future mayi!
Weeoweet Shanghai Dollies FTW!!
With my long lost friend Yeekhang. Thank God i found you uh :O
Le Jasmin and fanny photobombing!
With le fanny! Suspect my mum says the whole school no handsome guys and he is not bad. dafuq!
With yunqi!! :D
Jethro Kenny, towering over us :O
The very pretty Rachel :D
Nothing beats having a wonderful clique of friends in ngee ann. Thank God for their presence and making my wonderful chapter in life more wonderful!!! Through the ups and downs, we grew stronger each day yea! Really hope we continue to stay tightly knit with one another :D
And how can I ever forget some wonderful lecturers/tutors that really do leave a deep impression. They have been so endearing and loving, pretty unbelievable!
So this is Ms Tay! Met her from Shanghai overseas immersion program. Really thankful for her continuous support and how motherly she could be and sometimes naggy. She really did make an effort to come down today man!
And here is Mr KWM! Really wonderful tutor whom is also a listener and close friend/buddy. He is just so understanding to us students. Remember the days we make a scene in his stats class and all :O
Didn’t get to take a photo with Ms Gopalan ))): She came to congratulate me but boooooo forgot to take a photo before she left. She has been the most wonderful lecturer x tutor! Always looking out for me and not to forget, secretly giving me loads of opportunities here and there!! Really appreciated :D
Oh, and how can I ever forget my parents. First time since my secondary school years I saw my Dad smiling soooooo happily. It’s unbelievable to my eyes, wonder if he is really happy ?? HHAAHAH! And epic mother is epic!!!! Nonetheless, they have been wonderful pillars in my life. I’m not that kind that expresses myself and all that love verbally to them, but yes they are really awesome. Which parents aren’t awesome right, they are definitely great in one way or another.
Another strong pillar in my life, someone whom I met 4 years ago and have been always there for me: Le Benson Poh!!! wo ai ni!!!!! Gonna be cliche and use this phrase ’ words cant express how much you mean to me ’ :OOO
*fave photo of the day*
On Monday morning, we headed off for benson’s graduation @ nyp! It was sooooo early and I was half awake through the ceremony!
With benson and his sanjie :D
Became the camera woman for the day!!!! The photos of him and his friends. Saw a couple of familiar faces over there and a few of those at internship (horrified!).
And a last one with Joscelyn cos I manage to find her!!!! Congrats babe :D
That’s about all for his graduation. Poor little boy who is not very so pleased about it because of his mum not being able to be there for it. Sayang!!!! Deardear, you still have me. Though I definitely can’t replace but I hope I could be of something to you! xoxo
4 days later :O That lucky bratsxzzzz that gets to travel to Japan, envioussss!! Please buy me tokyo bananas if they are available, ploxx!
That brotherhoodly backview!
And joash who is sooooo reluctant to take photos with us )): reason being his outfit was outrageous. So poor bitter fanny part 1:
Bitter fanny part 2:
Bitter fanny part 3:
And tata group photos before he flewwwww off!!!
The most awesome ppl whom have cross paths and stuck with each other throughout these 3 years and hopefully more to come. I like how tightly knit we are through good and bad times. Though we are kinda douchy and scummish at times, we still think of each other alot!!!! Wed club :O ?????
So instead of our long awaited picnic at Botanic Gardens, we ended up in town for high tea @ Artistiq. What a random twist of plans but really thankful for the change cos else, we would be baked in that hot afternoon sun!!!
So we camwhored outside the cafe while awaiting the seats.
Then we continued camwhoring inside the cafe!!! HAHAHAH! Girls will be girls.
On a side note, I totally dig the concept of the cafe, they have different seating arena with different concepts. We chose the ones by the windows and it is sooooo beautiful. Just allowing the sun rays hitting into the cafe, the old english days furniture and soothing music playing behind the background. Totally immersing into the culture, but we kinda failed badly.
O well but the point is, you got to try this place out, though the pricing are pretty steep.
Now the food we ordered! Kailin and I shared the high tea set which includes the 2-tier pallet and 2 pots of tea. It cost ard $56 in total inclusive of gst and service charges. Yea, it’s pretty expensive for us students, but if you are gonna be a taitai, things would be totally different!
And that chocolate x green tea lava cake that Michelle & Chenxi ordered was pretty unique and good as well. But would very much prefer chocolate x chocolate lava cake. Urghhh! Fanny bake one!!! :D Yeah, I’m a glutton in his eyes man! He dreamt of me asking for my Pods! Dafuq!!!
Really thankful for this amazing Saturday afternoon spend with the girls. It’s so relaxing where we just eat, shop, chit chat, snap photos and blabber around. Oh speaking of which, we shared a 4D ticket! LOLS! I shall repent man, it’s my first at this though! Let’s hope our picnic plans come true one day.
The not-so Graduation Night @ Grand Copthorne Hotel
Has our graduation night on Friday 18may @ the hotel sooooo near to Zouk. A pity party plans were cancelled due to all that indecisiveness D: MAJOR BOOO! But owells, things happen for a reason.
Was kinda dreading the dinner the morning before it because the dinner wasn’t for everyone and anyone. So most of the faces there were strangers strangers and more strangers. Thank God I had Michelle, Chenxi and Meihua with me, else it would be majorly awkward for me.
The only familiar souls I have there :
Left the hotel around 11odd and damn the night was still young. So I went to meet benson instead.
A couple of self camwhore shots for y’all!!!
Lovin my topshop cross tee that i got from the sales @$19 only!!!
K tata! Tmr is benson’s graduation and then mine on Tuesday!!!
#1. I’m afraid of having to deal with projects (again!)
#2. Is there really alot of China people (hope this isn’t offensive), but i’m more concern if the professors @ NTU are from China. You know the language barrier):
#3. Direct honours?
I have this thing for fashion, bright colours, beautiful materials and apparels. And that explains pretty much where my money goes to. Was never a big fan of Miss Selfridge, simply because I preferred Topshop over Miss Selfridge. But but but, this summer collection @ Miss Selfridge made me totally speechless. The colours are so beautiful, can’t wait to hop over to their store later to see if I can get any.
It’s the middle of May and middle of the middle of week in May. HAWHAWHAW!
Can’t wait for the end of this week because it means 5 days of holidays for me. First up, there would be grad dinner over at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, which I don’t really look forward to. And hopefully party at phuture thereafter, provided the guys are able to make it.
On Monday, it would be Benson’s grad day and hopefully able to spend quality time with him for that day. On Tuesday, it would be my grad day, but the thought of wearing that bulky robe kinda puts me down. I look that bad in it uh!
Oh oh, I have to share about Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s blog that I have been reading this whole morning: http://kendallandkylie.celebuzz.com
If you didn’t know, I have been watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians for quite some time, think it started beginning of this year. It stars Kim Kardashian (apparently the more popular of the hoard) and the two other sisters : Khloe and Kourtney. I kinda like the idea of their parents naming their children all beginning with a K. The reality series are pretty interesting, though at times, I kind of doubt the seriousness of it. And I watched how Kendall and Kylie grew from toddlers to who they are today, they really do take after their elder sisters and mum. Ok, now I sound like a mum.
On a personal note, I do prefer Kendall over Kylie in terms of their looks. Well, they are both really gorgeous but in 2 different manner and somehow Kendall’s looks appeal to me more.
So hop on to their blog to read about them, I’m gonna continue stalking now.
Caught an episode of Celebrity Slimdown on E! over dinner just now and was super inspired by how the artistes lose pounds over the months. Well, they don’t just do it to look slim but to get toned and all. That is pretty much what I need. My leg muscles are getting flabby over the years cos I stopped dancing and it’s pretty demoralizing looking at them now. Yes, it is really demoralizing, don’t judge!
I’m gonna get my running shoes and sports bra tmr with Benson. Gosh! Like finally I know. I have been dragging this for way to long cos I always feel that sports shoes aren’t a necessity. Now, I know how important they are and are gonna be. I shall and must exercise like twice or thrice a week in the future.
So I got myself searching online for gyms like Fitness First, True Fitness and they are soooooo expensive. Wonder if I should really sign up for them? But I definitely need a personal trainer ))): zomg!!! How now brown cow ):
Ramblings about what I've been doing over the weekends
LOL at us digging Gossip Girl style clothes at Topshop Bazaar!
It was an impromptu decision to hang out together. The prime reason was to hop to Topshop bazaar at Scape which was pretty disappointing because there weren’t many nice pieces or they were in way to odd sizes. Guess that’s why it was a bazaar. Nonetheless, I landed 2 tube dresses in uk12, so I gotta alter them before wearing :D Looking forward to the Topshop sales at their boutique, already prepared to burn my fingers. And yes, can’t wait for payday this coming week and some retail therapy to heal the soul.
Not to mention, I have been pampering myself over the weekends. Went for a hair cut at Protrim with Yori on Saturday. Prepping myself for a major hair change in coming June, so this time round was just some trimming and treatment for the ultimate dry hair ): Gotta wait for my hair to grow out and longer, so hopefully by June, there would be changes :O
And today, I went for facial. My face totally needs it man, it has been overly CMI for the past month, with pimples popping in and out, then there’s blackheads, oiliness! Almost wanna wear a mask out): Yeah, kinda had this session to prep myself for grad day/night, girls wanna look good alright! But now, its red and still pimplish all over. It could only get better next week. MAY IT HEAL :D
Long overdue post : Riders Cafe w Shanghai Dollies
OUR FOOD : The usuals
And there comes a lot of camwhoring pictures. Love the saddle club soooooo much! Nature at its best! It feels really good to take just a day off and come close to nature, the sun, greeny grass and just soak in and enjoy. Looking forward to travelling to Australia or in fact around the world, just to experience these.
An attempt at the pony’s hair:
And we got cranky:
Do give Riders Cafe at The Saddle Club a go! I have this thing for brunch and all things nature, hence such great love for this place. Would definitely drop by again and give Marmalade Pantry a try. On a side note, really love my Shanghai girls a lot. Funny how we grew on each other during and after the trip. Never knew this would happen but I really thank God for this wonderful friendship.
